Jeni May,
Biological Sciences
Jeni May graduated from King's College London with her BSc (Hons) and PGCE in Biology and has taught for over two decades, experiencing both international and UK schools as Head of Biology.
With extensive expertise in university admissions, she has successfully guided students through UCAS applications for Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Natural Sciences, Human Science and other G5 Biological Science degrees.

Jenny,
Biology
Jenny is an exceptional Biology teacher with outstanding academic credentials, having studied at Bristol University for her BSc and PhD in neuroendocrinology.
She is currently leading the Biology department with 200 A-Level students in an award-winning academic school.
Jenny has been tutoring since 2015, supporting various A-Level specifications, and is an examiner for AQA.
She has deep insight into how to achieve top grades, having recently led 75% of her A-Level students to an A/A*.

Anisha, Biology
Anisha studied her Biology degree at the University of Southampton and took her PGCE at King's College London.
She currently teaches at an outstanding London Sixth Form school, meaning she is consistently teaching Year 12 & Year 13 Biology A-Level content and skills.
Anisha is a kind and patient tutor, who is engaged as a Student Support Mentor, where she works 1-1 with students to help boost their learning skills with revision and study improvements.

Nari, Chemistry
Nari studied BSc Chemistry and PGCE at Birmingham University and has since spent 20 years in the classroom delivering IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry as Head of Chemistry and Deputy Head of Science Faculty.
Nari is highly experienced in working with sixth-formers who wish to continue their journey to degree level and has frequently supported with entrance exams, NSAA now called ESAT, for Natural Sciences at Cambridge and Chemistry at Oxford.

Shiza,
Chemistry
Shiza graduated from Brighton College and went on to achieve her BA in Natural Sciences at University of Cambridge followed by MSc in Chemistry at UCL.
She is a fully-qualified Chemistry teacher and works at an award-winning, academically recognised, Ofsted Outstanding sixth-form school in London.

Marcus,
Chemistry
Marcus graduated from Russel Group established Manchester University with a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and later took his MSc in Organic Chemistry at University College, London, achieving a Distinction.
Having also taken his PGCE at UCL, he currently teaches at an award-winning Outstanding London Sixth Form state school, meaning is is consistently teaching Year 12 & Year 13 A-Level content and skills.
He is safeguarded trained and has DBS clearance.

Russell,
Geography
Russell holds a BSc (Hons) and PGCE in Geography and Education and was Head of Geography at University College School, where he also, as Head of Higher Education, was responsible for the Oxbridge/G5 pathway.
Russell has written multiple A-Level textbooks and published articles for related wider reading in several leading educational publications, as well as leading many field-trips across the world.

Robin,
Physics & Engineering
Robin studied his Masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Warwick University, so is familiar with the tutorial system.
He was Head of Physics at Cheltenham College and delivered Physics IGCSE and A-Level, in addition to preparing students for PAT and ESAT as part of the Oxbridge Engineering and Physics application process.
Outside of the classroom, Robin was the lead contributor to the Physics content for Cognito Education and contributed towards the 4th Edition of AQA GCSE Physics textbook.

Kate,
Physics
Kate is currently an Assistant Head, who has taught and tutored Sciences for over 15 years, including as Head of Science and Accredited Subject Lead Practitioner.
With a Masters in SEN, she also has vast experience in supporting those with neurodiversity to achieve top GCSE grades.

Sarah,
KS3 Science
Sarah is an exceptional educator, having taught and tutored Science for 20 years.
After her BSc (Hons) in Marine Biology and her PGCE in Science Education, she later graduated from University of Bristol Veterinary School with an MSc in Global Wildlife Conservation.
Having extensive experience in teaching Biology and Chemistry GCSE, Sarah is an empathetic tutor, highly knowledgeable across subjects, thoroughly enthusiastic for the subject she loves, and able to impart examination techniques to support her students in gaining their highest grades.

Anthony,
Medicine
Anthony studied BSc (Hons) in Evolutionary & Behavioural Ecology and MSc in Phylogenetic Studies at Exeter University. He has since taught in post-16 education for over a decade, mostly A-Level at a highly academic sixth-form school in an impressive Biology department.
Having managed a successful MDV program for several years, he has assisted hundreds of students to obtain places on Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science degree courses, at a rate of >40 a year consistently, including 5 Oxbridge places.
Mathematics & Economics

Maiqi,
Mathematics
Maiqi is the Head of Maths and Further Maths at an award-winning, academically recognised, Ofsted Outstanding sixth-form school in London.
With a BSc in Maths, Education and Educational Psychology, a Masters in TEFL and PGDE in Secondary Education, she is a fully-qualified, experienced schoolteacher.

Luisa, Mathematics
After graduation from the prestigious University of Turin with a degree in Mathematics, she worked in her first career as a Scientific Editor before moving into teaching, taking her PGCE at the Institute of Education in London.
Luisa has been a GCSE Examiner for several years and knows exactly how to support her students to develop the exam techniques to achieve high grades.

Joe,
Economics
Joe has been an Economics teacher for over 30 years, the last 20 years at Brighton College (Independent Secondary School of the Decade).
Having a BSc from Warwick in Statistics and Economics and MSc in OR, Joe has been Head of Economics & Politics, Head of Studies and Lead Examiner for Edexcel Economics A-Level for many years.
English & Foreign Languages

Catherine,
English
Catherine studied English at Russell Group establishment, Cardiff University, and has worked as a Curriculum Leader for a large English department.
She has further qualifications in leading progress between KS3 and KS4 so is an expert at helping students to develop their love for English Language.
She has been an examiner for GCSE English Language papers for several years.
Catherine is highly capable and passionate about her subject and is brilliant at developing her student's confidence and enabling them to find their voice.

Michael,
English
Michael began his education at King's College School, Wimbledon, and graduated from Cambridge with a BA (Hons) in English.
Teaching English up to A-Level for over 30 years, he was Head of English in a variety of independent day and boarding schools across the UK, before moving into school leadership positions, including Principal of an independent boarding school.
He has specific experience in delivering Cambridge (I)GCSE English Literature and is currently a tutor of this.

Steven,
English
Steven is an experienced English teacher and tutor with a wealth of expertise across a variety of age ranges and assessment types.
He currently teaches at an academic sixth form college in London, though he has taught extensively from Key Stage 3 up to undergraduate level, including 16+ entry exams, and at GCSE and A-Level.
He holds a PhD in modern literature from the University of London, and his debut novel for young adults is due to be published by Firefly Press in 2025.

Cathy,
French
Cathy graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BA (Hons) in French and Spanish.
After working in Paris for two years, she moved into teaching, taking her PGCE at the Institute of Education.
Through her many years at a leading London establishment, Highgate School, she taught French at (I)GCSE and A-Level in addition to many leadership roles.
Cathy more recently achieved a distinction in her MA in Psychology and Education and strives to ensure high educational quality and effective outcomes in all her tutoring.
